EVENT LAUNCHPAD

What is it?

NASA International Space Apps Hackathon 2024 will be an intense 48-hour global weekend hackathon for developers, designers, engineers, entrepreneurs, astronomers and enthusiasts.

Along with over 200 cities around the world, Ottawa teams will solve NASA- and CSA-designed challenges that leverage spacecraft, celestial & science data. You don't have to be a programmer to participate - we welcome participants from all backgrounds.

Where and when is it?

This year's event begins on Friday October 4 with a Canada-wide introduction and welcome by the Canadian Space Agency. The hackathon runs from Saturday until midnight on Sunday October 6.

We are hosting at Carleton University's Technology Innovation Management (TIM) faculty. You can also participate online. Please register so we can provide you with snacks, prizes, mentorship, and support so you can enjoy and get the most out of the event.

I have more questions!

Great - we are glad you are interested in knowing more! We've tried to answer the more frequently asked questions, but if that doesn't help you are always welcome to email us and we'll respond right back to you.
