What is it?

NASA International Space Apps Hackathon 2020 will be an intense 48-hour global weekend hackathon for developers, designers, engineers, entrepreneurs, astronomers and enthusiasts.

Along with over 200 cities around the world, Ottawa teams will solve NASA- and CSA-designed challenges that leverage spacecraft, celestial & science data. You don't have to be a programmer to participate - we welcome participants from all backgrounds.

Where and when is it?

This year's event begins at 7 pm on Friday October 2 and runs until midnight on Sunday October 4. You can see the full schedule below.

We are ENTIRELY VIRTUAL this year. Please register so we can provide you with the connection details and with support throughout your weekend so you can enjoy and get the most out of it.

I have more questions!

Great - we are glad you are interested in knowing more! We've tried to answer the more frequently asked questions, but if that doesn't help you are always welcome to email us and we'll respond right back to you.
